(Golden Harvest International School) — The first ever mini-concert of Golden Harvest International School & Day Care at the multi-purpose center held last Friday, July 23, was a big success!
A big crowd witnessed the event with the summer camp participants coming from different schools both public and private showing off their talents in music and dancing. The event was highlighted by a musical drama “Beauty and the Beast” that “wowed” the audience.
Parents and guests were awed and surprised by the students’ performance — they all did a great job! They can’t hardly believe this was accomplished in six weeks time!
School president Susan Deblois, thanked and handed this year’s camp Mentors with certificates appreciating their hard work and dedication in making this event a success.
Deblois said that beginning this school year, a music class will be incorporated in the curriculum to further hone the students’ talent.
The school is active in participating on various competitions offered islandwide and also with other community sponsored events.
Because of its success, the school is looking forward for the next summer camp with more surprises to offer its campers.
Golden Harvest is located on Ghiyeghi St. in San Jose.
Enrollment is still going on. There will be an open house on Aug. 6 while classes start on Aug. 9.
