Char’s Thrifty Store introduces loyalty card

CHAR’S Thrifty Store on Beach Road, Chalan Laulau now offers loyalty cards to its customers.

Owner Teresa Gotti said Char’s — a boutique and convenience store — also provides authentic items at reasonable prices.

She said the loyalty card has 10 blocks and every time a customer spends $10 in Char’s boutique section a block is filled in. Once all the blocks are filled, the card-holder gets a 15 percent discount when buying any item in the store.

“Sign up is free. For every $10 you spend on our boutique side, we will fill a block until you complete all 10 of them,” Gotti said. The loyalty card, however, does not apply to items that are already on sale.

Char’s Thrifty Store Christmas season sale promo ended on Jan. 7, but Gotti said they will have another sales event in February for their first anniversary.

“On those days when we don’t have a sales promo, our customers can use their loyalty card,” she added.

Char’s Thrifty Store carries authentic and branded items at reasonable prices, she said.

Among the branded items are Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, Skechers, Fila, Nine West, Pony, Calvin Klein, Guess, Under Armor, Converse and Adidas.

Gotti said their goal is to provide convenience and branded items that those in our community can afford to buy.

“We are really focused on the local community and we have great stuff that caters to local needs,” she added.

“They don’t have to pay so much money to own branded stuff. For example, Levi’s at stores in Garapan costs $90. Our prices start from $29. Our average price is like $59.”

Aside from clothes and shoes, the store sells bags, cosmetic lines from Korea, gift and personal items. They also have plus-size clothes, bras and underwear.
