Imperial Pacific joins recovery and relief efforts on Saipan

(Press Release) — Imperial Pacific International’s Corporate Social Responsibility team, through the Community Service Program, is assisting the community recover from the devastation of Typhoon Yutu.

From Nov. 2 to 15, IPI deployed over 100 employees to various relief and recovery activities around the island. They helped prepared public schools that served as long-term shelters, distributed food, water and personal hygiene items to households; helped restore damaged books at the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library; partnered with the Marianas Young Professionals in village cleanups and food distribution; partnered with the Public School System in ensuring that public schools are ready for the resumption of classes; cleaned up Tank Beach and Marine Beach; and joined the Salvation Army in volunteer work and assisted in the distribution of relief goods on Saipan.
