Hyatt Regency Saipan 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic: Thank you Delta Airlines, Docomo, IP&E and Coca-Cola/Foremost!

(Press Release) — Hyatt Regency Saipan 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic received two round-trip tickets to Japan from longtime business partner and charity golf classic platinum sponsor Delta Airlines. The generous donation of two roundtrip tickets is valued as $2,064 and will be paired with four different Hyatt affiliate hotel creating a package for the winners to Explore Japan.

Located at Hole No.7, the Explore Japan package features two roundtrip tickets via Delta Airlines and hotel nights at the five Hyatt affiliates inclusive of Hyatt Regency Osaka, Grand Hyatt Tokyo, Hyatt Regency Kyoto, Grand Hyatt Fukuoka, and Andaz Tokyo. The lucky couple will also receive a chef’s recommended dinner set menu at Roppongi On The Hills Club, an exclusive membership club that occupies the entire 51st floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower with a breathtaking view of Tokyo city lights. The Explore Japan tour is a one-of-a-kind on the greens win, however; should luck not be on the side of a golfer the day of the tournament, guests at the dinner banquet poolside will be able to purchase raffle tickets to win the luxury travel package.

An equally generous donation was made by platinum sponsor Docomo Pacific which provided two brand new Apple electronic devices — an iPhone 7 128GB with a retail value of $825 and an iPad Air 2 16GB with a retail value of $649; a Samsung Galaxy S6 valued at $499; two Docomo Pacific beach chairs and two Docomo Pacific sun shades. Understanding and sharing in the mission of Hyatt, Docomo Pacific donated an additional $500 in cash to their in-kind sponsorship.

The iPad Air 2 16BG will be a winning prize for one lucky lady golfer on the day of the tournament, and the Samsung S6 will be a prize for the men’s champion flights. All other cellular devices will be a part of the raffle and live auction to be held that night.

IP&E, for its part, made a generous cash donation, placing the entity in the platinum tier level. The cash donation will aid this year’s six beneficiaries in their purpose of enhancing the quality of life of those in need within our island community.

Another generous donor is platinum sponsor Coca-Cola Beverage Co. (Micronesia) and Foremost Foods Saipan which will provide $2,000 in beverages and supplies for the tournament to be held this Saturday, April 22, 2017. Foremost Foods Saipan will serve cold coffee beverages for the early birds Saturday morning during registration prior to tee off. Coca-Cola Beverage Co. (Micronesia) will host a beverage station for players on the course located at Hole No.8 serving refreshments to golfers.

All proceeds will go to the event’s six beneficiaries: Make-A-Wish Foundation, aiding them in their mission to grant wishes to children with life-threatening diseases; Kagman High School Million Dollar Scholars Club, supporting CNMI high school students in preparation and travel to higher education; Marianas Behavioral Health International a rehabilitation center dedicated to provide support for those who want to make a positive change in their lives; Karidat, a local organization supporting the needs of the community; Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation who assists impoverished women and children of the CNMI; and the Northern Marianas Humanities Council with a goal to focus on supporting the education of indigenous cultures of the CNMI.

Golfers are encouraged to invite a guest or two to the dinner banquet poolside, $35 per person inclusive of free-flowing beverages and a dinner buffet featuring Certified Angus Beef cuts. Raffle tickets in the amounts of $1, $5, $10 will be sold for an array of prizes from designer handbags to high-end golf gear to round-trip tickets to the Philippines, Japan, Korea and Europe that will be paired with hotel nights in other Hyatt, Hyatt Regency and Hyatt affiliate hotels. Prize packages as such will not be offered at any other tournament for the rest of 2017.
