A man was killed after a car he was driving went off the road in Ngchesar early Sunday morning.
Criminal Investigative Division Chief Xavier Ngirameong identified the fatality as Kenzio Yamashiro.
Ngirameong said that that with five other passengers, the vehicle was on its way towards Koror and leaving Ngchesar when the incident occurred.
Ngirameong said the fatality was in his 50s.
The five other passengers sustained minor injuries but Yamashiro was pronounced dead at the hospital.
He said the incident is still being investigated as to the real cause of the accident.
Ngirameong said the vehicle , a Toyota Surf rolled on the side of the road.
The incident was reported to the police Substation in Melekeok at 6 a.m. of October 14.
