Organizers are now ready for the upcoming annual Palau Pacific Resort Marathon, Half-Marathon, and Half-Marathon Relay slated April 7.
Anyone interested to run must pre-register at the Palau National Olympic Committee Office (PNOC) during working hours or at the Palau National Track Office not later than April 4 between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Registration fee is as follows: Full Marathon Runners - from Ngardmau to PPR at 26.1 miles ($25); Run will start at 3:30 a.m.
Individual Half-Marathon Runners - from Aimeliik turn off to PPR- 13.1 miles ($10). Run will start at 5:30 a.m.
Open Relay (Age 17 & over) - 3.275 miles per runner x 4 people - $5 each runner. Run will start at 5:30 a.m.
Youth Relay (Age 16 & below - 3.275 miles per runner x 4 people - $2.50 each runner. Run will start at 5:30 a.m.
If you join the Relay team, each individual in each team must register, sign and get Parents or guardians release form signed if necessary.
There will be T-shirts, certificates, raffle-prizes & a wonderful breakfast catered by the Palau Pacific Resort for all participants. And, big prizes for race winners in the different events!
