THE Guam International Airport Authority’s police division arrested three minors after they allegedly burglarized the construction site of the Home Depot on Airport Road early yesterday morning.
According to a release from GIAA, the minors — aged 15 through 17 — were charged with criminal trespass, burglary, criminal mischief, vandalism, and possession of stolen property.
They were apprehended by Airport Police on the Home Depot construction site between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. yesterday.
The minors will be “treated” as adults, based on the first-degree felony charges involved. They were all booked and confined at the Hagatna lock up.
Airport Police officers were also able to recover the stolen items, which were located behind the adjacent Mai’Ana Airport Hotel.
The Guam Police Department also assisted in the arrest of the minors.
