THREE men were arrested in separate cases, including sexual assault and possession of the drug “ice.”
Robert Mendiola Cabeanayan, 19, of Yona, was arrested on Saturday for assaulting an active military service man.
At 3:45 a.m., police officers responded to a disturbance report. When they arrived at the Holiday Plaza in Toto, they found a man later identified as Cabeanayan beating a man.
Cabeanayan was charged with assault, and was booked and confined.
Guam Police Department public affairs officer Allan Guzman said two off duty active military personnel were walking in the area when Cabeanayan suddenly approached one of the service men and started punching him.
Meanwhile, Ciamilo Tuk, 39, of Harmon, was arrested for beating and sexually assaulting a 36-year-old woman on Saturday.
The woman told police that she was beaten and sexually assaulted by a man at her residence at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Police responded and investigated the woman’s claim, which led to the arrest of Tuk.
Tuk was charged with criminal sexual conduct, family violence, assault, and criminal mischief. He was booked and confined.
In other news, Paul Aldan of Dededo was arrested for possession of “ice.”
GPD Dededo Precinct patrol officers noticed a white Mitsubishi Mirage driving in a reckless manner on Y’Seng-Song Road by Batulo Street in Dededo.
Officers pulled over the vehicle. Officers asked the operator of the vehicle for the vehicle registration, a proof of insurance, and an identification card, but the operator was not able to supply the officers with any of these items.
Upon further questioning of the operator of the vehicle, police officers learned that Aldan was in possession of a schedule two controlled substance, commonly known as “ice.”
Aldan was booked and confined.
