Otong leads Ngatpang gubernatorial race

Francesca Otong is leading the Ngatpang gubernatorial race, according to the unofficial results of the Election Commission.
The unofficial result released by the commission at 10 p.m. last night showed that Otong garnered 91 votes with Demei Otobed in second with 65 votes and Martin Blodak with 21 votes.
The unofficial results said that the commission that total votes cast is 178 the total number of voters was 239.
Otong has been serving as the State Executive Officer.
Ngatpang voters chose their first ever elected governor yesterday. Voting opened at 7 a.m. and was closed at 7 p.m. Counting of votes begun immediately.
For the legislative seat, Lee Otobed is leading with 145 votes; Constantino Ngiraked with 139; third is Ibuuch Tomoichi with 134 votes; 4th is Siles Ngiraremiang with 128 votes; 5th is Ridep Emesiochel with 120 votes; 6th is Elin Kloulchad with 116 votes; 7th is Takemura Erungel with 109 votes; 8th is Razi "Cboy" Rimirch with 99 votes; 9th is Johnson Emesiochel with 97 and Wanda Techitong-Remeliik with 86 votes.
