THE Department of Agriculture’s Division of Aquatic and Wildlife Resources Law Enforcement Section arrested Glenn Aguon Meno, 36, for illegal hunting.
Meno, of Inarajan, was charged with possession of a firearm without a firearm ID, protection of wild animals, and jurisdiction over an adult.
Three minors, who were also found with Meno, were released to the custody of their grandmother.
At 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, conservation officers spotted a vehicle in the DanDan area in Inarajan and suspected illegal hunting. They continued to monitor the vehicle until it stopped at the intersection of Belen Road and Chalan Kanton Tasi.
Conservation officers confiscated the Rocky Jeep that Meno was driving, a 12-gauge shotgun, unexpended ammo, a 200-pound male deer, other hunting paraphernalia, and an ounce of marijuana. Meno was booked and confined.
