TWO men aged 38 and 52 spent their Easter Sunday in the Guam Memorial Hospital after being involved in a car accident Saturday night on Route 16 in Barrigada near the Guam Main Facility postal facility.
The Guam Police Department said two Toyota pickup trucks were traveling north on Route 16 when one hit the other while trying to change lanes.
Traffic by the post office was blocked off to allow police to investigate the events that led to the accident. One of the pickup trucks was found by emergency responders and investigators to have struck a concrete utility pole and the other flipped over.
Guam Fire Depatrment spokesperson Phyllis Blas told Variety that the men had to be extracted from their vehicles.
The case remains under investigation. Police are looking into whether speed and/or alcohol were contributing factors. No citations or arrests have been made.

In other news, the 66-year-old man who was struck by a vehicle on April 2 died at GMH yesterday at 3:45 a.m.
