Luncheon for cancer survivors

(MMAC) — The Marianas March Against Cancer will host a luncheon for cancer survivors on Saturday, April 14, at the Fiesta Resort at 12 noon.
Information on the Commonwealth Cancer Association, MMAC, and plans to honor survivors at the MMAC event will be discussed.

Chamber meeting

(SCC) — The Saipan Chamber of Commerce will hold its general membership meeting on Wednesday, April 11, in the Seaside Room of Saipan Grand Hotel. Steve Tilley, zoning administrator, will talk about the recent village meetings and about next steps.
Registration and buffet begin at 11:30 a.m. The meeting is open to the public and the cost of the program and luncheon is $25.

(HJHS) — Hopwood Jr. High School has scheduled the following events:
• April 12 — PTSA meeting in the cafeteria at 6-7pm. All 8th grade parents are highly encouraged to attend.
• April 23-27 — SAT 10 testing/assessment. All students are encouraged to attend.
• May 4 — 4th quarter mid-term progress reports.
• May 30 — 8th grade promotion.
Saturday Academy: Open library hours for reading/math/research and tutorial from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
