Man arrested for burglary

By Trina A. San Agustin
Variety News Staff

A MAN was arrested yesterday after a concerned citizen saw him burglarizing a neighbor’s home.
Paul Aldan, 31, of Dededo, is no stranger to the Guam Police Department. He was previously charged in connection with burglary, theft of a vehicle, robbery, and possession of a controlled substance, among other things.
In the most recent case, Aldan was charged with burglary, theft of property, and possession of a schedule two controlled substance, suspected to be “ice,” according to Dededo Precinct Officer Thomas Alger.
Alger told Variety that the precinct received a call of a burglary in progress at a home on Ifil Court in Liguan Terrace, Dededo late yesterday afternoon. The witness told police that the suspect was driving a white pickup truck and was about to leave the residence.
When Alger arrived at the location, he found Aldan in the truck full of stolen items. The items included a Sony television set, a video cassette recorder, an iron, an ironing board, religious items, faux mink blankets, a coffee maker, and other items.
Aldan was booked and confined.
