A 23-YEAR-old man was arrested by officers of the Department of Agriculture’s Division of Wildlife Resources Law Enforcement Section for illegal hunting.
Rocky J.V. DeGarcia was arrested in Bubulao, Talafofo on March 30, and charged with protection of wildlife animals, according to an agency arrest report.
He was found with a 12-gauge shotgun, unexpended ammo, a headlight, knives, two deer carcasses, and other hunting paraphernalia.
DeGarcia allegedly illegally hunted in the area beyond hunting hours, according to DOA conservation officer Rolando Delfin.
On the same night, patrol officers in the area located a man in possession of a firearm without firearms identification. Through a follow up investigation, officers were also able to arrest Glenn Paul Respicio Eay, 46, of Tamuning, on a charge of unlawful transfer of a firearm.
