Entries still accepted for Jam Attack

The Northern Mariana Islands Volleyball Association is still accepting entries for the 2007 Jam Attack indoor volleyball tournament.
The annual tournament will be held at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym from April 20 to 22.
The three-day tournament will have competitions in the men’s and women’s divisions.
The entrance fee is $150 per team.

Women’s caging meeting today

BASKETBALL Association of Northern Mariana Islands official Elias Rangamar is calling on interested individuals to attend an organization meeting for women’s basketball.
The meeting will be held this Friday at 5 p.m. in Gilbert C. Ada Gym’s conference room.
The meeting aims to form a women’s basketball association. The meeting will also discuss women’s leagues, basketball clinics and two upcoming regional tournaments.
This November, BANMI will be fielding a 19-and-under team in the Micronesian Basketball Tournament on Guam this November and an Open squad in the MBT Open in Pohnpei next year.
Volunteers, players and coaches are encouraged to attend the meeting.

‘Run Up the Andes’ Saturday

The Saipan International High School Spanish Class will be holding the “Run Up the Andes” this Saturday.
The race will start from the base of Mt. Tapochao and will finish at the top.
The registration fee is $10 with participants getting a t-shirt.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used for the class educational trip to Peru.
The registration begins at 6 a.m., while the race will start at 6:30- a.m.

NMI Men’s Fast-pitch team orientation April 16

(CNMIASA)—The CNMI Softball Association will be holding an orientation for individuals interested to join the CNMI Men’s National Fast-pitch Softball Team.
The orientation, which was originally set for April 2, will take place on April 16 at 6 p.m. at the Miguel “Tan Ge” Basa Pangelinan Ballfield.
Players selected for the team will be representing the Commonwealth in the Oceania Softball Confederation’s North Pacific Championships qualifier on Guam later this year.

Gatorade 3-man Pro Jam Paintball Sunday

THE Gatorade 3-man Pro Jam Paintball Tournament will be held this Sunday at Hard Corps.
Teams interested in joining the tournament must register no later than tomorrow. The entrance fee is $20 per player.
The top winner will receive $250 cash, while the second and third placers will also take home $150 and $100, respectively.
NPPL Rules and HCP field rules will be implemented.
