THE public address system located in the press box of the softball field at the Ada Gymnasium in Susupe was stolen on Saturday.
Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Lei Ogumoro said the burglary and theft incident was reported to the police on April 14 at 8:55 a.m.
Ogumoro said preliminary report disclosed that somebody entered the press box at the Ada Gym’s softball field and managed to steal the P.A. system by cutting its line.
DPS stated that there were no games on Friday while the game on the previous days was not held at the softball field so the P.A. system was not used.
Ogumoro said the incident is under investigation and there are still no suspects.
DPS is urging anyone to call Crime Stoppers at 234-7272 for any information leading to the arrest of the responsible person or persons.
