(DFS) — Venancio “Jojo” Juson and Melanie Camacho, both from the Downtown Galleria, were honored as March employees of the month before a very enthusiastic crowd of fellow co-workers and management officials during a recent ceremony held at the Downtown Galleria.
Working as a beauty advisor for Anna Sui, Juson is a quite popular figure among all the DFS employees.
She is known for her bubbly personality and professional attitude.
According to her team leader Alice Duenas, Juson provides first-class customer service in a very luxurious manner and is one of the top sellers in her department.
Her skill as a make-up artist was recognized as she received the top make-up artist award during her previous off-island training Singapore.
Juson received honors in the sales category and has been with DFS since December 1998.
Melanie Camacho of the cashier office won the award in the sales support category. Camacho was recognized for her excellent punctuality and accuracy to complete transactions.
She also has very good customer service and is fluent in Japanese.
“(Camacho) gives suggestions to improve operations…maintains a very organized and clean work area (and) has a good working relationship with her co-workers,” said her manager Marida Pensader.
Camacho has been employed by DFS since March 1987.
Both employees received employee of the month certificates, a $100 cash award, and one month VIP parking pass for their vehicles. They are now eligible candidates for 2007 employee of the year in their respective categories.
