9 arrested for family violence, assault

THE Guam Police Department arrested nine individuals in separate incidents of family violence and assault over the weekend.
Among those arrested is a Department of Corrections guard, Jason John Remoket, who was charged with family violence and aggravated assault.
GPD public information officer Allan Guzman said Remoket, 31, of Mangilao, was arrested for assaulting a woman at the Dededo Payless.
Remoket was booked and confined on Saturday at 5:30 a.m. It was not known as of yesterday if any administrative action will be taken by the Department of Corrections against Remoket.
Celestino Ngreiteroli, 24, of Chalan Pago, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, assault, family violence, terrorizing, and use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a crime.
Guzman told Variety that Ngreiteroli assaulted and threatened a woman on Saturday at 5:30 a.m. with a knife at a Chalan Pago residence. He was booked and confined.
Also charged with family violence was Ernie Balinas, 49, of Dededo, after assaulting a woman.
Chris Flores, 29, of Yigo, was also arrested after allegedly assaulting a 19-year-old girl.
Flores was charged with family violence, assault, felonious restraint, aggravated assault, and terrorizing. He was booked and confined.
Patrick Bello Quitugua, 41, of Dededo, was arrested on Sunday at 10:15 a.m. after allegedly assaulting a 59-year-old man. He was charged with family violence and assault.
James Jay Mason, 26, of Dededo, was charged with aggravated assault and family violence on Friday at 11:45 p.m. after allegedly assaulting a 33-year-old woman.
Alvin Joshua Nuccum, 28, of Yigo, was also arrested on charges of assault and family violence after allegedly assaulting a 22-year-old woman on Friday at 8:40 p.m.
Reny Reyes, 27, of Dededo, allegedly struck a 34-year-old woman in the ankle, injuring her and sending her to the Guam Memorial Hospital for further treatment of her injuries. Reyes was also charged with a use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a crime.
Francine Marie Meno Cruz, 24, of Dededo, was arrested for family violence and assault after assaulting a 15-year-old girl.
In other news, GPD is looking for a man described as having dark complexion, with black hair and was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, who allegedly grabbed the purse of a 26-year-old woman on Sunday at 3:30 a.m. The woman was entering her apartment in Tamuning when the robbery happened.
