Former Vice President Sandra Pierantozzi has officially filed her candidacy for the vacant seat in the Senate that was left by the late Senate President Johnny Reklai, who died on March 11.
Pierantozzi submitted his requirements at the Election Commission at exactly 2:15 p.m. yesterday.
This brought to two aspirants so far following the filing of Hokkons Baules on April 2.
The remaining terms for the position is one year and seven months before the next Congressional Elections on Nov. 2008.
Pierantozzi reiterated his earlier commitment to unify the currently divided Senate.
"I hope to be the catalyst in the Senate," she said.
