Kayangel recovered from a
slow start to beat Ngerbeched, 14-6, on Tuesday night and seized the second
spot to fortify its bid for a playoff berth in the 2007 Palau Major League

victory over Airai the other week.
The K Angels are now 13-5 and relegated Ngerbeched in third with 13-6.
Kayangel lagged behind by one run from the first inning to fourth inning
but Homer Hesus, Hadley Hesus and Blelai Tomei put the Angles for the
first time infront at 5-4.
Eric Kyota, 2005 Male Athlete awardee for baseball, and Thomas Rumong
scored each on top of the sixth for Ngerbeched but Poch Osima nd Dexter
Sadang made it 7-6 for Kayangel.
Then in the bottom of the seventh, Hadley, Blanco Rodrick and Homer scored
in succession for Kayangel and tightened its defense on the way to the
win.
Also in the ninth inning, Wiseman Kumaichi, Sadang Osarch, Osioma and
Dexter reached homeplate to put the icing on the cake.
