Slow-pitch pitchers clinic tonight

THE CNMI Softball Association will be holding a pitchers clinic tonight at 6 p.m. at the Miguel “Tan Ge” Basa Pangelinan Ballfield.
Members of the NMI Women’s National pool and public school teachers are encouraged to attend the clinic. For more information, contact Liz Palacios or Liz Lebria at 287-8869.

San Roque Parish golfest May 27

The 13th Annual San Roque Parish Golf Tournament will be held on May 27 at the Marianas Country Club in Marpi.
The annual golfest will be having competitions in six flights, namely the Championship Flight, A, B,C, Ladies and Seniors.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to the improvement of the parish social hall.

Jam Attack volleyball tournament April 20-22

The Northern Mariana Islands Volleyball Association is still accepting entries for the 2007 Jam Attack indoor volleyball tournament.
The annual tournament will be held at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym from April 20 to 22.
The three-day tournament will have competitions in the men’s and women’s divisions.
The entrance fee is $150 per team.

Eskuelan San Francisco de Borja golf fundraiser June 30

THE Eskuelan San Francisco de Borja of Rota will be holding a golf fundraising tournament on June 30 on the west course of the LaoLao Bay Golf Resort.
Proceeds from the tournament will be used for operating expenses of the Songsong-based school.
The entrance fee is $120. The tee-off time is set for 7:30 a.m, while the check-in time is at 6 a.m. The tournament format is double peoria.

San Jose Fiesta-Tinian Sportsfest

In celebration of the Annual San Jose Fiesta on May 4 and 5, the San Jose Fiesta Sports Committee will be holding competitions in men’s and women’s volleyball, softball and tennis and men’s basketball.
