THE Les Hustlers
kept the lead in the Budweiser SBA Open 8-Ball League for the 11th straight
week virtually claiming the championship in the Winter/Spring 2007 season.
Entering the final and 12th week, the Les Hustlers are holding a 67-17
record. They beat The Godfathers, 5-2, last Tuesday.
The Les Hustlers are seven wins ahead of second placer Buds All
In Boys, who prevailed over the Buds Predators, 6-1.
The only way that Buds All In Boys could tie Les Hustlers is for
the latter to lose all their seven games against Ysabels Leche Tent
on April 24.
Bud All In Boys are holding a 60-24 slate and will face last placer
Vince Amigos (26-51) in its last game.
In other results last Tuesday, USSP Wat-ever fortified its
hold on the No. 3 spot after downing Vince Bwibwiis, 4-3. USSP Wat-ever
improved to a 54-30 record.
Krystal Perfect Spotters lost to Porkys Toka Hao, 3-4, but they
moved up from fifth to fourth place with a 44-40 record.
With The Godfathers 2-5 defeat at the hands of Les Hustlers, the
former dropped to fifth with a 43-41 slate, followed by the Wild Wild
West (42-42), VFW Warriors II (41-43), Vince Bwibwiis (39-45), Buds
Predators (38-36), Porkys Toka Hao (37-47), VFW Warriors I (33-51),
USSP Fotten Palau (32-52), Ysabels Leche Tent (27-50) and Vince
Amigos.
Wild Wild West won over VFW Warriors I, 4-3; Ysabels Leche Tent
prevailed against VFW Warriors II, 4-3, and USS Fotten Palau topped Vince
Amigos, 5-2.
In the last week of the Saipan Billiards Association-organized tournament
on Tuesday, The Godfathers will take on USSP Fotten Palau, the Krystal
Perfect Spotters will face VFW Warriors II, VFW Warriors I will meet Porkys
Toka Hao, USS Wat-ever will collide with Wild Wild West and
the Vince Amigos will battle Buds Predators.
