A MAN who introduced himself as Osama Bin Laden was arrested by police after he left a local restaurant without paying for the food he ate.
Police were called to investigate a theft of services at King’s Restaurant in Tamuning last Thursday after an African-American male wearing a T-shirt and shorts, balding, and with a full beard attempted to leave the establishment without paying for his meal.
Restaurant workers said the man arrived at around 3 p.m. and did not offer to pay.
He was detained by management until police arrived.
The individual did not cooperate or provide identification and called himself “Osama Bin Laden.”
He gave his birth date as Sept. 11, 2006.
He was brought to a nearby police station where he was booked for theft as a petty misdemeanor.
