The Taiwan Technical Mission-International Cooperation Development Fund and the Bureau of Agriculture is conducting a one-day home garden-orchid training course today at the Ngarachamayong Cultural Center.
A simple opening ceremony starts at 9:30 a.m. to be followed by a lecture on basic concept and introduction to orchid by TTM Leader Ming-Lii Hseu.
Ming-Lii will also talk on orchid planting and management.
Then at 12:30 p.m., Dr. Yuliana Chandra will discuss orchid planting practice while BOA Director Fred Sengebau and Ming-Lii will facilitate on the final discussion at 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Some of the orchids to be transplanted during the training are Dendrobium and Oncidium.
