A man charged for stealing
a pressure washer from a warehouse and attempting to sell it to one of
the warehouse employees has pleaded not guilty.
Kevin Mendoza Piol, 19, appeared in court for arraignment last week.
He has been charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.
Piol was released from the custody of the Department of Corrections after
the court granted his motion for bail modification.
Piol posted an unsecured bond of $9,000 and a $100 cash bail.
He was ordered to observe curfew hours from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
In other news, the man charged for stealing a vehicle and a laptop computer
has pleaded not guilty.
Denmar Malabanan, 18, also appeared for arraignment last week.
Malabanan was released from custody after posting a $5,000 property bond
and a $20,000 unsecured bond. He was released to a third party custodian
his father.
Piol was arrested for burglarizing the JP Builders warehouse in Gualo
Rai on Feb. 22.
Malabanan was arrested for taking a vehicle and laptop computer belonging
to Joaquin Tenorio Sablan on Feb. 9.
