GOVERNOR Benigno R. Fitial
yesterday designated May as CNMI Tourism Month and swore in Debra Fleming

This years theme is Tourism is Everybodys Business.
Tourism benefits and substantially enhances the personal growth,

development and promotes intercultural understanding, friendship, and
appreciation of the people, geography and history of the Northern Marianas

regardless of the course of human events, tourism remains a mainstay in
the CNMI with its clean, pure, safe and fun lifestyle, the governor
said.
The new MVA board member, Fleming, said she will serve for two years on
the board.
With the challenges that were facing right now, I need to
put in a lot of hard work and contribute my best effort in bringing development
to our tourism industry, Fleming said, adding that this is the first
time she has been appointed to a government post.
