San Roque Parish golf tournament May 27

THE 13th Annual San Roque Parish Golf Tournament will be held on May 27 at the Marianas Country Club in Marpi.
The annual golfest will be having competitions in six flights, namely the Championship Flight, A, B,C, Ladies and Seniors.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to the improvement of the parish social hall.

Trench Wars 6 moved to June 23

THE Trench Wars 6 “Mass Destruction” has been moved from May 26 to June 23.
Trench Tech’s Cuki Alvarez said they decided to reset the schedule of the event as Guam will also be holding a tournament dubbed “Geran Haga” on the same date.
“Almost all of our top fighters from various affiliations have been invited to participate and have been offered a hefty paycheck, therefore we don’t discourage them from participating. So in light of this situation, and to keep the integrity of the fight card for TW6, this drastic date change needed to be done,” Alvarez said in a media release.
“We are sorry for this inconvenience. However we are confident in bringing a top quality show. Once the final date is secured, there will be no turning back,” he added.

Eskuelan San Francisco de Borja golf fundraiser June 30

THE Eskuelan San Francisco de Borja of Rota will be holding a golf fundraising tournament on June 30 on the west course of the LaoLao Bay Golf Resort.
Proceeds from the tournament will be used for operating expenses of the Songsong-based school.
The entrance fee is $120. The tee-off time is set for 7:30 a.m, while the check-in time is at 6 a.m. The tournament format is double peoria.
