TWO NMI youth
soccer teams will leave for today for Guam to participate in the Guam
Football Association/Cars Plus Robbie Webber Youth League Jamboree.
Saipan United, which is composed of players in the 10-and-under age group,
is scheduled to leave at 3:30 p.m.
The members of the co-ed U-10 team are Saipan International Schools
Jordan Butcher, Mickey Coleman, Kennedy Izuka, Jonrey Gilles and Misaki
Cramer, Dandan Elementary Schools Enrico Del Rosario, Mt. Carmel
Schools Michah Griffin, Brilliant Stars Hirai Masami, Saipan
Community Schools Jewell Hunter and Jehn Joyner, San Vicente Elementary
Schools Lester Passion, Calvarys Masami Sato, Tomas Nishta
and Whispering Palms Kristina Folta, Phalai Frink, Taylor Knecht
and Gabriel Race.
Saipan United will play four games in the U-10 division, which will also
feature 18 Guam teams.
Saipan United will debut against Isa Asuit tomorrow at 9:50 a.m., while
its three remaining games will be against Strykers Blue, Tumon and the
Wolverines.
Norman Camacho is coaching Saipan United.
The Saipan Revolution, which is composed of 12-and-under players, will
be coached by NMI womens team member Emily Gries and will leave
Saipan tonight at 6:30 p.m.
The Saipan Revolution will also play four games on Saturday at Harmon
Field. Their opponents are the Lady Crushers, ASC Gat-Gold, Tumon and
Isa Betde or ASC Gat-Gold.
The members of Saipan Revolution are Juliana Muna, Kallie OConner,
Cyrena Pattillo, Doreen Ravell, Grant Rhee, Shu Sato, Crosby Schultz,
Kaisei Toda, Clay McCullough-Stearns, Christian Miller, Ryan Baron, Bo
Barry, Grace Brostrom, Mason Fruit, Andrew Johnson, Angelo Jones, Jake
Lee, R.J. Knecht and Jellian Majors.
