Alan Seid Badminton Challenge set May 5-6

The Senator Alan Seid Badminton Challenge is set on May 5-6 at the Palau High School Gym.
The two-day tournament is part of the celebration for Old Age Day.
Palau Badminton Club organizer Allan Tuppil said the leveling games for men’s Doubles, Ladies Doubles and Mixed Doubles categories will be held from 9 am to 12 noon on May 5.
The Tournament proper will open at 1pm.
Tuppil said all players who won in the previous tournaments are those who will be leveled from advance to intermediate.
The categories Men’s singles and Ladies Singles will not be included in the leveling, while the beginners for the Doubles category is open to all.
Tuppil said the first 45 players to register will get souvenir t-shirt. Proceeds of the event will be for the Peleliu Old Age Center, which is undergoing renovation.
