SAIPANCELL Hustlers take solo lead in SBA-Budweiser Open 8-Ball League

THE SAIPANCELL K. Hustlers grabbed the solo lead in the SBA-Budweiser Open 8-Ball League after Week 2 of the tournament last Tuesday.
The Hustlers 6-1 victory over Coral Reef “Shark Attach” gave them the No. 1 spot as the former improve to an 18-3 record, up by two wins against Week 1 co-leader USSP “What-Ever.”
USSP “What-Ever” also won its Week 2 matches downing the Starters “Mangatchung”, but the former’s 4-3 triumph was only its 16 th win in 21 games.
Also winning last Tuesday were Godfather’s “Fotten Gaga,” Wild Wild West, Tease “Navy Hill Boys,” Round 2 “Big Boys,” Krystal Perfect Spotters and Starter “Young Boys.”
Godfather’s improved to a 15-4 record with its 6-1 victory over Bud’s Predators, while Wild Wild West defeated Vargas Hot Shots to claim the No. 4 spot with a 14-6 slate.
Porky’s “Mixed Breed” and Vargas Hot Shots are in fifth and sixth, place respectively, after bowing to separte foes. Porky’s “Mixed Breed” bowed to Round 2 “Big Boys, 3-4.
Tease “Navy Hill Boys,” Krystal Perfect Spotters and Starters “Young Boys” posted similar 4-3 wins against VFW Warriors I, Coral Reef “Barracuda” and USSP “Rock Islanders.”
The Navy Hill Boys are in seventh place with an 11-10 slate, while Round 2 “Big Boys” and the Krystal Perfect Spotters are tied for eighth with identical 10-11 records.
The Starters “Young Boys improved to an 8-13 record tying Coral Reef “Shark Attack” and the Starters “Mangatchung” in ninth spot.
The VFW Warriors I (6-14) are in 11th place, followed by Bud’s Predators and Coral Reef “Barracuda” (6-15) and USSP “Rock Islanders” (4-17).
