New police officer sworn-in to DFWP

Vice President and Justice Minister Elias Camsek Chin welcomed a new police officer during a simple swearing-in ceremony yesterday administered by Bureau of Public Safety Director Hazime Telei.
Volette Polloi was assigned to the Division of Fish and Wildlife Protection, which she said a matter of personal choice.
Her family, she said, had always been supportive to programs relating to the conservation of the environment.
Her late father was one of the traditional chiefs of Ngchesar.
She was accompanied by her older brother lawyer Quay Pollloi during the swearing-in rite at the old Vice President’s Office in Koror.
The new police officer took up Anthropology at the University of Hawaii with minor in environmental science.
