2nd public forum at San Vicente school

THE second public forum that will discuss vital economic, social, and political issues facing the commonwealth will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 6-8:30 p.m. at San Vicente Elementary School’s cafeteria.
The forum aims to provide a venue for members of the community to freely and openly share their views on the issues they care about, and to participate in the process of identifying solutions to the problems they see.
Participants will also be encouraged to learn from each other, to ask honest and critical questions, and to utilize all the resources available to them to make informed decisions.
The second forum will continue the discussion of the issues that were raised at the first. New issues may be raised as well.
The following new issues will be proposed for discussion at the next forum: racism in the CNMI, this year’s election, public health and healthcare, crime, tourism, the Covenant.
The forum is free and open to all. Notes will be taken at all forums, and summaries provided to the greater community through e-mail and media outlets. All forums will start and end on time.
