BLS releases revised schedule of monumentation

The Bureau of Lands and Surveys recently released the revised schedules of its land registration program as mandated by RPPL 6-31 as amended by RPPL 7-3.
The new schedules are the last calendars for 2007 in each state because the BLS has until Feb. 11 to file claims to the Land Court. This means that April 10 is the last day of monumentation work, according to law.
The remaining works to be completed are calendars 38 to 43.
In Calendar 38, six areas in six states were just completed from Jan. 15 to 25, including four lots in Ngebei, Ngarchelong; 26 lots in Ngersuul, Ngchesar; 30 in Ngchemesed, Ngaremlengui; 13 in Ngermid (Omeririim), Koror; make-up in Aimeliik; and one in Ngeruangel, Kayangel.
In Calendar 39 (Jan 26-Feb-9), notice and filing of claims in the Rock Islands are expected to be completed while three other areas are scheduled for make-up (Ngermetong and Ngeyungel in Ngarchelong and two in Ngaraard and two for cadastral in Koror; and Medorm in Aimeliik.
Four areas are also scheduled for make-up in Calendar 40, two each for Ngarchelong and Nagraard while two cadastral in Ngaraard and Melekeok.
For Calendar 41 (Feb 25-March 11), there will be three areas for Cadastral including 120 lots in Peleliu; 27 in Ngerkeai in Aimeliik; and Ngardmau while two make-up work in Ngaraard and Ngatpang.
The 120 lots in Peleliu which are set for filing of notice included 60 lots from Calendar 39.
All six areas for monumentation in Calendar 42 are for cadastral which is set from March 12 to March 3. These are in Ngatpang (Omeririim), Peleliu, Aimeliik, Ngaremlengui (Imeong), Ngchesar, Ngiwal (Ngercheluuk/Ngermechau).
The last monumentation Calendar is from March 27- April 10 in six areas that included 33 lots in Airai, 60 in Peleliu, 50 in Aimeliik, Ngaremlengui, 43 in Ngiwal and in Ngaraard.
