Man found dead

A 63-year old man was found dead on Friday, Jan. 26 near the Japan Palau Friendship Bridge, according to the Ministry of Justice.
Vice President and Justice Minister Elias Camsek Chin identified the fatality as Vicente Skilang who was reported missing 6 p.m. of Jan. 25.
Chin said that Skilang’s wife called the police and asked for assistance in locating her husband.
Chin said Skilang was last seen at T-Dock’s sea ramp cleaning a stingray Thursday afternoon.
He said the victim’s family was alarmed when he did not return home that afternoon.
Chin said a search and rescue was immediately launched to find Skilang.
Skilang’s body was later found within the Ngesaol area at 10 a.m. on Friday.
Chin said it was reported that Skilang had a history of seizure.
