Stingers still undefeated in 11 games

The Stingers scored another easy victory over the Matadors, 83-72, on Tuesday night in Division II of the 2007 Shell NBL.
The win was the Stingers 11th consecutive as they maintained a clean record and dealt the Matadors their fifth defeat in 10 outings.
Charlie Ngiralmau led the Stingers with 22, June Bautista added 17, Vann Isaac had 12, Tochong Abear and Burton Wong chipped-in 11 apiece.
Franky Kuchad and Maka Ichiro led the Matadors with 25 and, respectively.
In the other games, the Ngiwal 79ers snapped a three-game losing skid by beating the Kinsmen, 68-58 while Mesang dealt Jaguars their second straight loss with a 102-61 decision.
Bevan Joseph led Mesang with 20 while Anlloyd Samuel scored his first five shots from the three-point area and added two more from the free throw line for a total of 17.
Mesang improved its record to 6-4 while the Jaguars absorbed their third setback in nine outings.
In Division I games, Meda posted a lopsided 84-64 win over the slumping Ranchers on Wednesday night.
Ziske Asanuma and Edson Chokai led Meda with 18 and 17 as the team improved its record to 6-3 while dealing the Ranchers their ninth loss in as many games.
In the other game on Wednesday, the Styxers bounced back with a 90-59 win over the Islanders.
The win was the Styxers’ only third as against six losses while the Islanders skidded to a 4-5 card.
Earlier on Monday, defending champion Peched Raw tripped the Ididers, 86-80, for their sixth win in nine games.
The loss was the Ididers’ fourth in eight matches.
In the other game, the Breakers won over Surangel, 85-80, with Taka Gibbons and Ryu Richards leading the way with 27 and 23 points, respectively.
The Breakers are now 5-3 and the Suns are 5-4 in the team standings.
