THE Northern Mariana Islands Triathlon Federation will be holding the last of the Enticer/Sprint series this Saturday in Marpi.
The sprint distance will feature a 600m swim, 18K bike and 4K run, while the double sprint distance will involve a 1,200m swim, 32K bike and 8Krun.
Registration for both races will start at 6:30 p.m., while the races will begin at 7 a.m.
The cost to participate is $10 for NMITF members and $15 for non-members.
This Saturday’s event will help triathletes prepare for the XTERRA and Tagaman races, which will take place next month.
Meanwhile, race director Sue Knecht is looking for volunteers for the Enticer.
One volunteer each is needed for the registration, waterstop at the 2K mark, La Fiesta intersection and for setting up the bouys.
NMITF is also looking for two to four volunteers for handling timers and numbering of entries.
