Dear MVA

IN case you can’t by now still couldn’t figure out why a Panda should not be utilized to promote the CNMI, let me continue to refresh you as to logic and facts.
Fact # 1. A PANDA in terms of Saipanda, is a wilful promotions of only Saipan and not the the rest of the beautiful islands of the CNMI. Logically, we do have a lot of our own animals like fanihi and green sea turtles that we can develop into cute and cuddly stuffed animals for the Happy Children Promotions.
Fact # 2 If the Japanese people supports a Panda because it is an endangered species, they will all the more support the green sea turtles as an endangered species as well. Logically, a fanihi pr a green sea turtle save the animal elements of promotions will be most beneficial to the CNMI..and the Panda will be most benefitial to China. You have a choice.
Fact # 3 It is the most bought souvenir item at Duty-free shoppers only. (Exclusive) Logically, it looks soooooo cute. It is irresistible so they buy them since stuffed-animal naturally appeals to children. These children may learn more of our island if we make our own animals into stuffed-animals for them to behold as memory so they can return back to a second visit to the CNMI. The Panda can incite them to go visit China instead of the CNMI, get it! If it is an MVA promotion why is Duty-free shopper the only one selling it. It should be made available to all businesses that tourists frequent like restaurants, stores, gift-shops etc.etc.
Fact # 4 If the SAIPANDA promotions are really working, then how come our share of the Japanese market is failing and failing! Isn’t it time for MVA’s marketing efforts be totally re-visited? I certainly think so!
Question: As a citizen of the CNMI I would like to have an answer. Is SAIPANDA a Duty-free shoppers’ project thru MVA, or another one of MVA’s project thru Duty-free Shoppers?
Hafa Adai...Abiba i lingguahi-ta yan i kutttura-ta. Lets all work to stop the SAIPANDA promotions on our islands.IT SHOULD BE PULLED OFF THE SHELVES!!! It defeats the purpose of promoting our cultural heritage. If you would like to join this important cause, my email address is alexandrosablan@yahoo.com or by phone — 288-5727.
