Wass’Up nails most lopsided win in FBA vs. PRR

Palau Wass’Up team nailed the most lopsided victory over Palau Royal Resort, 101-55, on Sunday in the third game of a four-game bill in the 2007 Filipino Basketball Association (FBA) at the Palau National Gymnasium.
The guest team led in all four quarters (20-13, 22-11, 25-15 and 34-16) and the Palauans are now 4-1 in the team standings behind leader Patriots (4-0).
Ziske Asanuma led Wass’Up with 30 points while Edson Chokai and Ivan Blesam added 16 and 13.
In the second game, the defending champion Rangers also prevailed with a similar big win over Asian Spirit, 113-70.
The win was the Rangers’ third in four starts while dealing the Jets’ their first defeat after winning all their first three games.
Another top favorite ATT-Jaguar came up with an easy 82-69 triumph over Sta. Fe to join Wass’Up in second place with a 4-1 record.
Sta. Fe further slipped to a 1-3 card.
In the first game, newcomer Samurai stunned the veteran Rams, 82-78, to score its second win in four assignments.
The Rams are now 1-3.
