A MAN was indicted by the
Superior Court of Guam for allegedly sexually assaulting a 6-year-old
on Friday.
Luis Clairto Climaco, 36, was charged with second-degree criminal sexual
conduct as a first-degree felony, assault with intent to commit criminal
sexual conduct as a third-degree felony, two counts of child abuse as
a misdemeanor, and harassment as a petty misdemeanor
Climaco was alleged to have engaged in sexual contact with
a 6-year-old on Jan. 31.
His next scheduled court appearance was not available as of press time.
In other news, Rudolfo Raymond Taisague, 29, appeared before a Superior
Court judge on Friday and was officially charged with possession of a
schedule II controlled substance as a third-degree felony.
The magistrate complaint states that around 12:30 a.m. on Friday, Taisague
was pulled over by a Dededo precinct officer for a bent up
license plate.
Taisague verbally identified himself to the officer because he did not
possess, at the time, any proof of identification. The officer requested
him to step out of the vehicle.
When he did, the officer used his flashlight to check the floorboard of
the vehicle for weapons and noticed a syringe and a cut plastic
straw, a commonly used container for crystal methamphetamine.
The discovery of the items gave the officer enough reason to arrest him
and charge him with possession of drugs.
Taisague, according to court documents, was not the only person arrested.
Taisague had a passenger identified as Isabel Q. McCord.
The officer arrested McCord after she had dropped a plastic straw containing
the drug. She was booked and released.
