Man in power wire theft charged

A MAN is facing a criminal case in the U.S. District Court of Guam after stealing and converting old salvaged power wire of the government.
Vincent Thomas Bordallo, 40, was charged with conversion of public money, property or records after selling the salvaged power wire for $3,200.
Bordallo allegedly committed the offense on Jan. 10, 2005.
In other news, a theft of government property case was filed against Roslyn Viray in federal court.
According to the information of the criminal case, Viray took two Coach hand bags from the Navy Exchange on or about Dec. 10, 2006 and continuing up to or about Jan. 10, 2007.
