Woman loses purse, money to snatcher

A 39-year-old woman was robbed of her purse containing $130 in cash, jewelry and other important documents while walking along Dandan highway on Saturday night.
Ding Bao Qin was walking home with some friends along the 16th Highway in Dandan in front of the Top Store when an unidentified man approached them from behind and grabbed her purse.
The suspect pushed the victim after grabbing her purse and fled east toward a residential area east of the Soo Jee Store.
The victim fell to the ground.
She lost her personal checks, driver’s license, cellphone, Social Security card, Chinese passport, jewelry and cash.
She immediately reported the incident to the police.
Acting Department of Public Safety spokesman Sgt. Thomas Blas Jr. said anyone having information about this incident should call Crime Stoppers at 234-7272.
All calls are anonymous and no caller ID is used. There is a reward of up to $1,000 for any information leading to an arrest.
