A 40-year-old man was stabbed by another man during an argument in the victim’s apartment in Garapan on Monday afternoon.
Eun Soo Han was brought to the Commonwealth Health Center for treatment.
He sustained cuts to his head, right arm and a deep cut to his stomach.
Acting Department of Public Safety spokesman Sgt. Thomas Blas Jr., said Han underwent surgery and is now in stable condition.
The victim was admitted to the intensive care unit.
Preliminary investigation by Patrol Officer Jerome Bermudes disclosed that prior to the incident, the suspect was at the victim’s apartment in the Kaepoong building in Central Garapan.
The suspect confronted the victim in his room and a commotion broke out among the two. The victim was later stabbed with a knife.
Han immediately ran to an adjacent room while the suspect fled the scene.
Blas said the suspect has been identified but an arrest has not been made yet.
