Some eight players have assured
their participation for the upcoming Easter Open Billiard tournament during
the first day of registration last Wednesday at the Q-Ball Club.
The tournament will start on March 5.
Registration fee is $25 for each of the limited 32 players in various
divisions with exciting prizes to be contested.
These are $300 (first), $200 for second, $100 for third and $50 for fourth.
The games will be played every Monday and Tuesday at 9 p.m. onwards.
The elimination games will be Race to five and the championship race will
be race to seven.
The tournament is open to all nationalities.

Gayongorsa steals show in FBCP All-Star Games
BONG Gayongorsa stole the show during the All-Star break of the ongoing
All-Filipino Budweiser 9-ball billiards tournament.
Gayongorsa won the first event, 16 balls three minutes challenge and went
home with a Budlight chair with bag then prevailed anew in the second
event, which was the 8-ball challenge and won a pool stick with bag from
Q-Ball.
In the third event, Budweiser 9-ball challenge double, the pair of Marlon
Sayson and Boy Gopez emerged winner and won the prize of bud light cooler
each and bags.
Paul Salonga won the final event, which was the Budweiser 9-ball challenge
single with a prize of Budweiser pool stick.
All-Filipino Budweiser 9-ball play-off starts this Sunday
THE play-off round of the All-Filipino Budweiser 9-Ball tournament will
be played this Sunday with half of the original 16 players still on the
hunt for the title.
Rolando Delarial and Benjie Doma will square-off in this knock-out system
round. The winner of this match will face the winner in the other winning
bracket pair between Paul Salonga and Glen Priscilla for the next round.
In the losing bracket, Gerald Sison will play against Albert Bautista
to earn the right to face the winner between Bong Gayongorsa and Randy
del Castillo.
The final four is scheduled on Feb. 18. The top players on the two brackets
will dispute for the title and the champions prize of a round trip
ticket to Manila courtesy of Asian Spirit.
