BEAUTIFY CNMI! would like to invite everyone to attend its first animal welfare committee meeting, which will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 6 p.m. at Cafe on the Park.
The committee will be chaired by PAWS board member Katie Busenkell, and will discuss issues such as:
• Responsible pet ownership (education);
• Anti-cruelty legislation;
• Opening an animal shelter;
• Low-cost spaying and neutering clinics;
• Dead animal pick-up; and
• Problems associated with stray/roaming animals.
Participants are welcome to introduce additional topics for consideration.
