Guam in the inaugural Annual Guam/Saipan Inter-Island Cup on Guam.
According to Brenda Schultz of the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association,
the Saipan-Guam showdown will be held on April 1 at 3 p.m.
Schultz added that next year, it will be Saipans turn to host the
Inter-Island Cup.
Eighteen players will be selected for the team, which will be coached
by Jeff Ziggy Korytoski.
Korytoski arrived on island last Wednesday and was formally named coach
of the NMI mens and womens squad in a press conference last
Monday at Fiesta Resort.
Meanwhile, to prepare for the Guam tournament, the Saipan National Team
will be conducting regular practices.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, they will practice at 5:30 a.m. at the American
Memorial Park, while on Wednesday, the training will run from 4:30 p.m.

NMIFA has yet to set the practice time every Saturday and Sunday.
Meanwhile, the last of a series of clinics NMIFA is conducting will be
held this Saturday.
The clinics aim to prepare the players for the upcoming womens league.
The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at AMP.
This weekend is also the last day to register for the Womens Recreational

uniforms. It is open to 14-and-above females.
A draw will be held this Saturday under the supervision of a NMIFA board
member to determine the composition of each team.
