DPS identifies suspect in stabbing incident

THE Department of Public Safety has released photos and information regarding the suspect in a stabbing incident that occured on Monday noon.
Acting DPS spokesman Sgt. Thomas Blas Jr. said police are now looking for Mingnan Jin, 35.
The public is urged to call 911 or 664-9043, 664-9042 or 664-9039, or Crime Stoppers at 234-7272, with any information that could lead to Jin’s arrest.
Jin is wanted for stabbing Eun Soo Han, 40.
The incident happened Monday at 12:54 p.m. Eun Soo Han was brought to the Commonwealth Health Center for treatment of his stab wounds.
Han sustained cuts to his head, right arm and suffered a deep wound in the stomach.
Blas said Han was stabbed by Jin at his apartment in the Kapeong Building in central Garapan.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Han was confronted by Jin and a commotion broke out between them.
Han was later stabbed with a knife and Jin fled from the scene, DPS said.
Han underwent surgery and is now in stable condition..
