By Nazario Rodriguez Jr.
Horizon news staff

The league-leading Stingers’s win against On Fire, an 80-73 decision on Jan. 23, had been reversed due to technicalities.
This has blotted the previous clean slate of the Stingers, who however, still on top of the 16-team field tournament in Division II with a 12-1 card with a day left before the end of the first round in the 2007 Shell National Basketball League at the Palau National Gymnasium.
The Stingers thus vented their ire on the 79ers on Feb. 8 , winning in 81-69 behind Vann Isaac’s 18, Erwin’s 14 and June Bautista’s 11 in the game.
Coach Topps Sungino said there will be a team managers’ meeting tomorrow to finalize the scheduled for the second round at 11:30 a.m. at the PNOC office.
During the meeting, the Sungino will discuss about some of the ground rules including that of what happened to the Stingers.
A player from other team, who found to have been played in previous two teams in the ongoing season, played for the Stingers in that particular game.
Rules have it that a player can only transfer into another team once, according to Sungino himself.
