By Nazario Rodriguez Jr.
Horizon news staff

Rolando Delarial and Paul Salonga won over their respective rivals in last Sunday’s semifinal round and arranged a championship duel for the first All-Filipino Budweiser 9-Ball billiards tournament at the Q-Ball.
The finals will be played Feb. 18 starting at 1 p.m.
Delarial escaped with a 7-6 victory over Benjie Doma while Salong outwitted Glenn Priscilla, 7-3.
Delarial rallied back from a 5-6 deficit in the race to seven match-up when Benjie Doma missed on the nine-ball in the 10th frame to equalize at 6-all then finished off the game on the break in the final frame as the 9-ball was luckily kicked by the 5-ball.
Doma and Priscilla will settle for third and fourth place.
In the losing bracket, Bong Gayongorsa defeated Randy Del Castillo, 7-4, and Albert Bautista won via forfeiture against Gerald Sison.
Gayongorsa and Bautista will face for fifth and sixth places while Del Castillo and Sison will square off for seventh and eighth.
Meanwhile, a total of 21 players have already registered as of Sunday for the upcoming Easter Open Billiards tournament slated to start March 5.
