2 burglary, 2 grand larceny cases

Two reported burglary and two grand larceny cases were reported during the weekend, according to the Division of Patrol.
Division Chief Ismael Aguon said on Feb. 11 at about 4:40 p.m., a female reported to the police that three males allegedly stole betelnut from her tree at Ngchesechang, Airai State.
On Feb. 9, two juveniles were reportedly arrested for attempting to break one of the classroom doors of the G.B. Harris Elementary School in Ngerchemai hamlet.
The MJ store in Ikelau was reportedly burglarized on Feb. 10 according to the police.
The police said the store’s padlock was forced open but the case is still under investigation.
Aguon added that on Feb. 10 at around 6:35 a.m.a female reported to the police that her bag was allegedly stolen which contains a digital camera, a round trip plane ticket and a $15 cash.
The victim told the police that she left her purse beside a sleeping man outside her house.
