THREE women lost $655 when their bag was snatched by a man while walking in Afetnas Sunday night.
The victims were Xiao Qin Zhou, 24, Jun Chen, 21 and Le Ping Wei, 22.
Acting Department of Public Safety spokesman Sgt. Thomas Blas Jr. said the victims were walking along the road in Afetnas by the former Siloam Market at around 1 am on Sunday.
The victims were carrying a bag that contained all their belongings when an unidentified man approached them and grabbed the bag.
The suspect ran south toward the Golden Poker building.
Blas said the suspect was wearing a black or dark-colored shirt and shorts and is possibly local.
The bag contained a brown and white handbag, Jun Chen’s entry permit, Le Ping Wei’s Social Security card, IDs, wallets, house keys and $655 in cash.
